“Falcon’s Flight” – The “EXA” Coaster (Over 600 Feet Tall) Begins Testing at 155+ MPH.
A new chapter in roller coaster history is unfolding. “Falcon’s Flight” has officially begun testing at Six Flags Qiddiya, marking one of the most significant milestones the theme park industry has seen in recent times. The roller coaster is manufactured by Intamin of Lichtenstein.
Towering over 600 feet on a cliffside and reaching speeds exceeding 155 mph (250 km/h), Falcon’s Flight is now the tallest and fastest roller coaster on Earth. Once thought to be an impossible concept, this extreme engineering marvel is rapidly becoming reality, redefining the limits of thrill rides.
World-Class Engineering:
More than 600 LSM (Linear Synchronous Motor) launch units work in perfect sync to accelerate the train up a cliffside before plunging them into a drop that also includes LSM’s for added speed. Secured only by lap bar restraints, riders will experience true weightlessness for approximately 8 seconds straight. The minimal restraint design offers an incredibly open and exposed ride experience, amplifying the feeling of flight at terrifying altitudes.
Each train on Falcon’s Flight has a custom-crafted windshield by Mercedes, a fully machined chassis, and an aerodynamic spoiler integrated into the sleek design, ensuring the train remains stable at record-breaking speeds.
With testing now underway, what was once dismissed as fantasy is quickly becoming a bold new reality.
