Walt Disney World Opening Day Attractions Close, Animal Kingdom Gets an Alien Encounter.
2017 was an incredible year in the history of the Walt Disney World Resort. We said goodbye to some of our favorite attractions, a number of which were opening day attractions in their respective parks, and welcomed an entirely new land, Pandora – The World of Avatar. Disney Springs was in full growth mode. The Disney Skyliner and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge were under construction, and Walt Disney World would change forever.
