May 29, 2026: The Loco Beach Coconuts Defeat the Party Animals, 4-3, on Night One
There is a certain energy and excitement that builds once pregame introductions begin at any sporting event. But at a Banana Ball game under the shining backdrop of Walt Disney World? That energy hits a little differently.
Before the Party Animals even stepped into the batter’s box for their first at-bats at the top of the 1st inning, fans were already on their feet, treated to magic tricks, a lively hula-inspired dance, and a full crowd warm up to Baby Shark that set the tone for the fun night ahead.
Once position players took the field and the home plate umpire officially declared “play ball,” viral-worthy moments blending Disney Parks magic and Banana Ball charm almost immediately started to spring to life. Set to Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride, a very special intergalactic guest even joined the Banana Ball party, as Stitch made a memorable appearance at the end of the first inning.
Another standout moment arrived later on, when the now-iconic Hey Baby singalong took over The Stadium. This time, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse jumped into the action, marking their first official Banana Ball appearance together at Walt Disney World. After gaining major attention at Disneyland Resort over the past two years, seeing this actually unfold in Florida brought the entire stadium to life.
After nine innings of bat flips, dancing umpires, and nonstop crowd interaction, a furious 9th inning comeback paved the way for a Loco Beach win, featuring a walkoff, two-run double with one out in the bottom of the final frame.
If you are sticking around for the second night of this special two-game Disney World series, expect even more of the unexpected. Fans of the Coconuts and Party Animals won’t quite know what’s coming next heading into tomorrow’s fun, but many certainly know whatever happens next will certainly keep them on their edge of their seat.
What Banana Ball Teams Are Playing at Walt Disney World?
Last year, the Savannah Bananas traveled across the country for many of their high-profile matchups, competing against the Firefighters, the Party Animals, and the Texas Tailgaters. Visiting a wide range of legendary venues like Fenway Park in Boston, Kauffmann Stadium in Kansas City, and Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Banana Ball has continued to visit iconic ballparks and prime destinations perfectly fit for friends and families, bringing the show to a new lineup of eager fans.
“The next location for the Loco Beach Coconuts is ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida!”
Next season, with the addition of two new teams competing in the Banana Ball Championship League, Walt Disney World will welcome the slugging Loco Beach Coconuts in a dynamic battle against the always-entertaining Party Animals.
If you are a fan of Disney Parks and Banana Ball, you are in the perfect spot to turn a double play with two cornerstones of entertainment and fun. Hosted at the 220-acre ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World, these two teams will face off inside The Stadium, featuring more than 9,500 seats, four luxury sky boxes, open-air suites, and a whole bunch of happy hijinks on the diamond.
Now That Banana Ball is Coming to Disney – How Do I Buy Tickets?
For fans itching to see trick plays, diving catches, and plenty of on-the-field shenanigans, make sure to secure your seats for next season’s games by entering the Ticket Lottery List before it closes on November 1, 2025.

What is Banana Ball?
Constantly keeping fans and players on their toes, Banana Ball is quickly becoming the fastest and most entertaining game in sports, featuring high-octane plays and entertainment-packed rules that are sure to put a smile on your face. Whether a fan catches a foul ball (it counts as an out in the game) or a player tries to steal first base (yes, you read that correctly), this curveball on traditional baseball has continued to grow across the nation at home and in ballparks!
