Six Flags Entertainment Corporation announced that it is bringing back park presidents at 10 of its major parks. This change is part of a new plan to better support each park’s needs and improve how they perform. It shows that Six Flags wants to be more flexible, smarter, and quicker to respond as the company continues to grow.
Each park president will be the main leader in charge of how their park runs, how well it performs, and the overall guest experience. This role will help parks take advantage of new opportunities and react faster to what’s happening in their local area. The new setup is meant to help Six Flags keep growing while still keeping each park unique.
“These changes are about putting leadership, expertise and accountability as close to our guests and team members as possible,” said John Reilly, president and CEO of Six Flags. “By strengthening park-level leadership, and aligning our support model with our strategic priorities, we’re empowering our teams to move faster, innovate locally and deliver exceptional experiences every day.”
The new park presidents are:
Canada’s Wonderland — Christopher Mortensen
Carowinds — Bridgette Bywater
Cedar Point — Colleen Brady
Kings Island — Tony Carovillano
Knott’s Berry Farm — Raffi Kaprelyan
Six Flags Great Adventure — Mike Fehnel
Six Flags Great America — John Krajnak
Six Flags Magic Mountain — Brian Oerding
Six Flags Over Georgia — Richard Pretlow
Six Flags Over Texas — Pete Carmichael
“The ultimate goal is simple: to consistently deliver the best possible guest and team member experience across all parks,” Reilly added. “With the introduction of these park presidents, we are confident we have the right leaders in place to unlock the full potential of our parks and elevate performance.”
