Back again at the end of June, we noticed that Disney had been undertaking some powering-the-scenes work at The Haunted Mansion which bundled the addition of new interior lights for The hearse in the graveyard scene. The purple flickering glow now aids to illuminate the relaxation of the scene. We assumed this operate was in preparing for the Hatbox Ghost to make his significant Walt Disney Globe debut.
A timeline of prepared openings 2022-2024 was introduced at the D23 Expo in Anaheim back in September 2022. The Hatbox Ghost appeared on the 2023 list which was superb information for Disney followers. With the now verified closure of the Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom on August 7 – 9, 2023 we are speculating that this could be in order to deliver the Hatbox ghost back.
Graphic: DisneyWe assume the Hatbox Ghost will be included right after the bride at the finish of the attic scene as is the case with the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland Park which returned in 2015.
With Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicking off on August 11, it would seem to be the best time to at last provide the well-known Hatbox Ghost back again to the Haunted Mansion at the Magic Kingdom.
