Big news, Universal fans—Epic Universe is finally entering the home stretch, and the first lucky guests to step foot inside won’t even need a ticket. Team Member previews have been officially announced, kicking off March 1st, 2025, and running through March 7th, 2025.

What This Means (and Why We’re Jealous)
This means Universal’s Team Members will be the first to experience Epic Universe before the general public, getting a sneak peek at the new lands, attractions, and, let’s be honest, probably testing how well the rides hold up after running all day. Meanwhile, the rest of us will just be sat at home scrolling through their Instagram stories, pretending we’re happy for them.
After this initial phase, Universal plans to expand the preview period so Team Members can bring friends and family along—because if you’re getting a first look at a brand-new theme park, you might as well have someone there to make them jealous in person.
Annual Passholder Previews Are Coming (Eventually…)
For those of us not employed by Universal, there is some good news. Universal has confirmed that Annual Passholder previews will happen before the official grand opening. No details yet on when, but at least it’s something to cling to while we wait.
Mark Your Calendars – Grand Opening in May
If you’re not a Universal employee or an AP holder, your first chance to visit will be on May 22, 2025, when Epic Universe finally opens to the public. That’s just a few months away, so if you haven’t started planning your trip (or bribing a Team Member to take you as their “friend”), now’s the time.

Final Thoughts
Team Member previews are a huge milestone, meaning Epic Universe is in its final stages before the big launch. If all goes well, we’ll soon be experiencing Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon, Dark Universe, Celestial Park, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic for ourselves.
Until then, we’ll be keeping an eye on all the sneak peeks and quietly seething with envy at those lucky enough to get in early.
Would you rather wait for opening day or pull every string possible to get into a preview? Let us know!

Ryan
Ryan has been attending theme parks since as long as he can remember and his first proper memory comes from when he was just three years old sitting in Main Street USA drinking a Nesquik milkshake from a carton while the piano was being played outside Casey’s Corner.
