Food Review: Grab ‘N’ Goof Is A Hit

Grab ‘N’ Goof is located at CommuniCore hall at the center of Cool Kids’ Summer. There is so much to do, that we created a Custom Touring Plan to help you plot your EPCOT day with kids ages 3 – 9. This snack stop is part of the plan, so let’s look at what they’re offering.

Blue Raspberry Lemonade with Strawberry Fruit Juice-filled Pearls and choice of Fish or Shark Gummy Candies served in a Souvenir Sipper
Super sweet, and so much fun. The top comes off easily and you’ll be able to see the boot Goofy caught at the bottom of the sipper. The handful of gummy sea creatures floating around were a big hit with the kids in our group. The sipper rinses out easily in the nearby restrooms, and washes up well when you’ve got dish soap around. We’ve hand washed ours several times now and the decals still look like new.

This is the same drink but without the souvenir sipper. The great news is you can redeem one Disney Dining Plan Snack Credit for this big bowl of sweet sips.

Fried Macaroni & Cheeses with Marinara Dipping Sauce
Best start with two orders because these fried hunks of joy are hard to share, and you won’t want to anyway. A true delight even without the sauce. This is an outstanding use of a Dining Plan Snack Credit, too.

Just Bare Lightly Breaded Chicken Breast Bites with Fried Cheese Curds and Goofy Sauce
If you have kids, you probably spend a significant portion of your Costco budget on chicken nuggets, right? If you can relate, this bowl of fried cheese and chicken love is the right pick. The Goofy Sauce is a very mild, sweet bbq sauce. We loved this and will make it part of our summer rounds. This is another Dining Plan Snack Credit, too.

Chocolate Cake , Chocolate Ganache, Cookies and Cream Pieces, and Gummy Candy
If you’re planning to let your kids get the Goofy’s Gone Fishing drink, you may want to skip this dessert. It’s a decent chocolate lava cake with gummy worms. It’s fine but it’s also the one thing on this menu we won’t get again. Hot macaroni and cheese, and hot chicken and cheese bites are fine, but hot cake is a step too far in the Florida sun. Save the Dining Plan Snack Credit.

Overall, we’re happy with this Cool Kids’ snack stop. The location is perfect and the food and beverage are on theme and so good!
