Hersheypark’s Wildcat roller coaster will remodel into Wildcat’s Revenge in 2023, as the 1996 Wonderful Coasters Intercontinental manufacturing will become the hottest wooden coaster to get a Rocky Mountain Construction rebuild.

“Based mostly on our visitor feedback, we knew coaster enthusiasts would adore a hybrid at Hersheypark, and we’re thrilled to get the job done with RMC on a custom wooden and metal coaster with a nod to our record,” Hersheypark Typical Supervisor of Sights Vikki Hultquist claimed. “Wildcat’s Revenge attributes the pretty best of RMC’s signature thrills, together with 4 inversions with the World’s Premier Underflip, Inverted Stall, Zero-G Roll and Reversing Downhill Roll.”The makeover will rework Wildcat’s 3,183 feet of wooden keep track of into a 3,510-foot IBox steel-monitor experience, including 34 feet to the ride’s top and bringing its leading hill to 140 feet. Following an 82-degree drop from that hill, Wildcat’s Revenge will hit a top rated pace of 62 mph as it flies via four inversions, including what Herhseypark is calling the “World’s Major Underflip,” an inversion that commences with an upward climb, followed by a counterclockwise 270° roll and dive.

Wildcat’s Revenge will open up following summer time, 100 many years just after the Hersheypark’s unique Wild Cat roller coaster opened, in 1923. That coaster closed in 1945.
