Six Flags Great America opened for the 2024 season on Saturday 20th April but without its new attraction, Sky Striker.
Now, according to the official Six Flags Great America website, Sky Striker is now open to guests. The park appears to currently be running a reservation system for those wanting to experience this new attraction.

The website states, “A limited amount of reservations will be available each operating day at the ride entrance. One reservation per person per day. Each person must be at the ride entrance to receive their own reservation. Attraction Access Passes will have a limited amount of reservations available at the Ride Information Center. Reservations for Sky Striker will be offered each day for the first few weeks of operation. Please visit ride entrance to secure your reservation for the day.”
In a recent video posted to YouTube by Theme Park Pros we get to see a test ride of this new pendulum ride which certainly looks to be a thrilling addition to Six Flags Great America’s line up.

Sky Striker is a Zamperla towering pendulum ride, swinging guests at 130-degrees, 172 feet in the air and reaching speeds of 75mph. Sky Striker will replace Dare Devil Dive in the “Country Fair” section of the park.
