It has been a very long ongoing saga regarding the return of parking trams at EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios which haven’t run since the COVID-19 shut downs of theme parks in March 2020. Though Disney Parks brought back bus and monorail transportation fairly swiftly, many were baffled when parking tram transportation continued to be unavailable, even as other parts of the Walt Disney World resort opened up.
It has now been confirmed that parking trams at EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios have now returned. This will certainly been very welcome news for guests especially after a long day in the parks. With the return of parking trams at EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it now means that once again parking trams are available at all Walt Disney World parks.
At the end of August it was announced that parking trams would return to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in September.

It was in December 2021 that parking trams returned to the Magic Kingdom and it was promised that they would return to the remaining three Walt Disney World theme parks by the end of 2022.
Image: DisneyWell, on May 27, 2022 parking trams returned to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The trams once again transported guests from the parking lot to the park entrance and then back again at the end of a long day in the park. This was certainly welcome news for guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Image: DisneyAt the beginning of January 2023, we were hopeful of a return at EPCOT due to new signage being installed which includes reference to parking trams. Now, we have confirmation that they have returned to both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
