It’s a big day for the Electric Mayhem as they will be holding their biggest Hollywood concert ever. That’s the band, but what about you?
The G-Force Records backstory will remain, as you head into the studio for a VIP tour. But the label has recently come under new Muppets management via Scooter’s uncle, real estate tycoon and owner of the Muppet Theatre J.P. Grosse. According to Disney, they’ve “made these hallowed halls their own.”, implying that the queue will see extensive re-theming to the Muppets.
As your tour progresses through the studio, you’ll find the Electric Mayhem “cranking out some seriously rocking tunes”. But the penguin audio engineers and Scooter would like Animal, Dr. Teeth, and the rest of the band to press pause and head across town in time to open their concert performance. (Sound familiar?)

The Electric Mayhem will head out, and so will you, for a trip powered by Muppet Labs and a very fast limousine. Look for new Muppet twists on the scenery and landmarks, and of course there will be a soundtrack as Electric Mayhem plays iconic rock ‘n’ roll hits to accompany your ride. Disney has hinted at a setlist to be released soon.
Dates?
Disney still has not announced a closing date for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, but says that the Muppets version will open in 2026. It’s unlikely the transformation will happen overnight. But it sounds like there are no major changes being made to the queue layout, track, or ride vehicles, other than “paint and paper”. So when the ride does close for retheming, the changeover could be relatively rapid.
