UPDATE May 20 – With the recent confirmation that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will officially open at the Magic Kingdom on June 28, Disney has now announced that there when it does open there will unsurprisingly be a virtual queue to ride.As has been the case with all recent openings, the virtual queue means that there will be no standby queue. Guests will have the opportunity to get access to the virtual queue at 7am and 1pm although these usually fill up with seconds of the windows opening.Things are slightly different, however, when it comes to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure than was the case with TRON Lightcycle / Run and Guardians of the Galaxy because there will be no Individual Lightning Lane available. The only other way guests can hope to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure if not lucky enough to get a virtual queue will be by purchasing Genie+ which now usually costs $25-$35 per person per day and hope there is availability through that method. This new system could be a disaster for some guests who go to the Magic Kingdom wanting to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure who miss out on the virtual queue and then purchase Genie+ only to find there is no availability left there either.Let us know your thoughts on the virtual queue and Genie+ options for riding Tiana’s Bayou Adventure when it opens at the Magic Kingdom on June 28 by leaving us a comment below or on our Facebook page.May 13 – Disney has now officially confirmed that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at the Magic Kingdom will open on June 28.
