Rapid Refill Mugs are 13oz insulated plastic cups designed to allow you nearly unlimited drink refills at any Disney Resort. The current design, above, comes in four colors. Each mug comes equipped with an RFID tag that activates the drink machines and tracks your refill availability.
How to Buy a Refillable Mug
Refillable mugs can be purchased at any Disney Resort either by walking in and grabbing one off a display, or by Mobile Order at any resort food court.
Mugs are $22.99 + tax = $24.49 each
Both 2026 Disney Dining Plans include one mug per person on your package.
All three 2027 Disney Dining Plans include one mug per person on your package. You can read all about them here!
Mugs are good for 14 days from the date of purchase.
Refills are available in 30 second intervals.
Mugs work at any drink machine at any resort no matter where it was purchased or activated. This is especially handy if you’re resort hopping or doing a monorail bar crawl.
The image above shows messages we received when we used the resort mug we purchased today. You’ll get similar messages each time you use one of the included soda machines.
Machine Locations and Included Beverages
Most resorts have the standard beverage machines, like the one shown above, inside their food court or quick service dining location.
Gold Peak Sweet, Unsweet, and Green Tea options are available at all resorts. There is no RFID tracking on these beverages.
Regular and decaf coffee are always available during dining location open hours. The spout with the red warning sign shown above is hot water for things like hot tea or cocoa. No RFID sensors on these beverages either.
The tea and cocoa bins are always stocked, too. You’ll have a few tea options in your room, but a wider selection can be found in your resort food court or quick service location.
Going from Sprite to hot cocoa? There are mug wash sinks like the one above at each resort.
A few Disney Resorts have the coveted Coke Freestyle Machines! As of today, you can find them at the following locations:
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Centertown Market Food Court, open 7:00am – 11:00pm
Vending rooms in Buildings 25, 33, 34, 43, and 52, open 24 hours. Bottled drink vending machines are available, too.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
Disney’s Riviera Resort
Primo Piatto, open 7:00am – 11:00pm
Polynesian Island Tower
Machines are located outside near Wailulu Bar & Grill
This is where you’ll find the Sprite Island Time Fizz! This is essentially POG Juice and Sprite and they have a Zero Sugar option, too!
Port Orleans French Quarter
Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory Food Court, open 7:00am – 11:00pm
Disney’s Beach Club Resort
Beach Club Marketplace, open 7:00am – 11:00pm
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
The Market at Ale & Compass, open 7:00am – 11:00pm
You’ll find drink refill machines at the main pools of all Disney Resorts, too. The machines, like the Art of Animation example shown above, are normally found outside of the pool fence near the snack bar.
While you can’t get drink refills inside any of the Disney parks or Disney Springs, these mugs may come in handy just the same. We bring our cups into the parks each day to fill with ice water or to make sharing a large beverage easier. What do you think? Are you a fan of the resort mugs? Do you think they’re a good value?
