Summer is right around the corner and that means it’s time for vacation planning to kick into high gear. Of course, with so many people visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with their children, this means it’s also the time of year when we start to see a lot of “advice” surfacing about how to get kids who aren’t big enough to ride certain attractions on said attractions. . . . . . so. here we are. . . . talking about this once again.

I said pretty much everything that needed to be said in the video, but in case I didn’t make myself clear enough: it is unsafe and beyond irresponsible to make your child seem taller than they actually are in order to ride an attraction. Whether we’re talking Walt Disney World or anywhere else. These guidelines are in place for a reason and that reason is to keep those riding [both the person who needs to meet that height requirement and everyone else] safe. Additionally, these height requirements are available online and can be easily accessed on the Walt Disney World Website, My Disney Experience app or even the 2 Foolish Mortals website. Taking some time to do your research ahead of your trip will ensure that you, your child and anyone else who decides to ride that day remains safe.

It’s also important to keep in mind that these discussions being had around this topic isn’t just speculative. Things like this, that we are trying to warn people about, happen all the time.

There are also a lot of other incidents that happen related to heath and not necessarily height. It’s important to make sure you are reading the advisories before getting on any Walt Disney World attraction.

As always, we welcome you to share your thoughts in the comments down below.
